Speyburn (Scotland) 1897
Speyburn Distillery situated in famous Speyside region (Scotland) was founded in December 1897 (in the year of the platinum jubilee of Queen Victoria). Distillery was built from stones recovered from the Spay river-bed running nearby. They were in pressing need of producing the first barrel of alcohol dated 1987 jubilee year, so that distillery started distillation even before doors and windows had been mounted. Master distiller in heavy cloths on had weathered severe snow storm in order to produce the only barrel of jubilee whisky.
Speyburn obtained a lot of awards, gold awards among them (Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2006).
Speyburn 10 Year Old (Single Malt Scotch Whisky).
This whisky distilled in famous Speyside region soaked up all properties of classical Speyside malt. Intriguing Speyburn has subtle fruity character and fresh, clean lemon-fruity flavor.
Speyburn 25 Year Old (Single Barrel, Barrel Strength Malt Scotch Whisky).
Whisky of saturated golden robe is shot with bronze and gives pleasure of vanilla oak flavor with a slight smoky and peaty hint. Carmel note entails a warm long-lasting sweetish aftertaste.
