Balblair (Scotland) 1790

Balblair Distillery was founded in 1790 by the Ross family and now is the oldest running distillery in Scotland (Highlands). Air of Edderton where distillery is located is considered the cleanest in Scotland. That forth component – clean air – combined with other components imparts its mild, light, graceful taste to Balblair whisky.

Distillery employs a conventional distillation practice consisting of slow pure distillation enabling to produce top-quality whisky. All single malt Balblair whisky varieties are aged in the open yard next to distillery.
